Apples!
We went to Zanesville for the annual Duncan family making of Apple Cider... right in the midst of Rowan's "I Love Apples More Then Anything" stage....
In the back of the truck, "helping" to get the apples out of the truck. (Our appologies to those who got cider made with apples that had Rowan bites out of them!)
In the wheelbarrow, "helping" mom get the apples to the press.
At the press, "helping" again. He was fascinated by the press, and required somebody standing close by, so he didn't stick his hand somewhere it shouldn't be...
Uncle Adam, do you want to trade?

Halloween!
Getting ready to give out the candy. Fortunatly, he hadn't quite figured out why he would want any of that stuff!
In the driveway to pass out candy, with his costume on. Thanks to Joanna, his grandma-in-law (?) for the easy-on/easy-off pumpkin outfit!
Posing with Caidin and Clara, our next door neighbors. He'll be ready to go with you next year!

1st Birthday, Pt. 2
1st Birthday, Pt. 1
Rowan is one already! We had a nice birthday party at our house, lots of little kids made it.
Aunt Brenda gave Rowan a Handy Manny wheeled backpack... which Rowan has been rolling around ever since. It distracted him from a good part of his own party, in fact...
Rowan was only briefly interested in opening any presents. Luckily for him, his cousins Dylan and Lizzie were more then happy to help mom open everything.
Rowan and Ethan, checking out the presents.
Rowan, Lily, Lizzie, Dylan, Aunt Brenda, and Uncle Adam (minus his noggin) as all the kids enjoy the presents in the front room.
Uncle Adam, Rowan with stolen sunglasses, and Aunt Juilianne ham it up for the camera.

Rowan and the Hose
I was cleaning Rowan's highchair on the back patio, and he decided that the hose that I left running was a great toy. It was like watching a train wreck, I knew it was going to end badly, but I couldn't look away, I could only video tape it so everyone else could see!

Updates!
Well, I finally updated the blog, August 15th is the first new one. Rowan is walking really well now. I can't seem to find good video from right when he started, but he was walking right after he turned 10 months old. (he's trying to run some now.) We are getting ready for his first birthday party, it doesn't feel like it's been a year already!

At the Park
We've been going to the park recently, as he seems to be big enough to enjoy some of the play gyms.
He did eventually climb these stairs, although he was very interested in eating the wood chips.
A climbing wall! Climber in the making!
He only need a little help placing his feet to make it up this climby thing, which was 6 or 7 feet high.
I like slides!!
This is like being trapped in my playroom!
