Rowan is doing really well and doesn't fuss too much, however, when he does he goes to 0 to 60 in 2.2 seconds! Fortunately for us he calms down just as quickly!

IT'S A BOY!!!!
Darren and I would like to introduce everyone to Rowan Patrick Price! He was born October 9, 2007 via C Section. He was 10 lbs 11 oz, 21 inches long. Below are some pictures so everyone can meet the newest member of the Ohio State Buckeyes Football team. He's going to be our future linebacker. I honestly don't know how he got as big as he did! However I have never lost 20 lbs in one day before.

This is one of the very first pictures of Rowan. He promptly peed on the neonatal nurse who was cleaning him up! He also was the biggest baby they had seen in over a month.
Picture of the new family!
Isn't he darling!
I think there is a baby in this pictures...but I can't really tell!
Daddy and Rowan napping...
I am a cutie pie and I know it!

Happy Fathers Day!!
Happy Fathers Day to all you Dads out there in blogger land. Darren and I had a wonderful Fathers Day that included Brunch with Linda & Gary, Sheryl, Lenny & David, and Anita & Barry. Anita and Barry are Linda and Sheryl's second cousins from Atlanta! We had such a lovely visit with everyone. After Brunch, Darren got to open his first Fathers Day gift. I (I mean the baby) got Darren (I mean the baby) the cutest set of onesies!
They say, "My Daddy Rocks", "Daddy's Main Squeeze", and "Daddy's my Hero"! They were so cute I just couldn't resist!

As for me and the baby, everyone is doing well! At 24 weeks, the baby has become super active. Darren was able to feel the baby kick the other day. It was a really weird feeling for someone other then me to feel the baby kick. It tickled more then usual and Darren was quite excited that he was finally able to feel the baby!
I have also made a New Baby Resolution....if you hadn't noticed, I haven't been really good about posting pictures. Its not that I don't want to share the pictures with everyone, it has more to do with the fact that I never bring my camera anywhere so I don't have any pictures to post :) So the New Baby Resolution is that I will bring my camera EVERYWHERE so that I can start posting more pictures! Plus, I figure I should start practicing since everyone will want to see pictures of the baby once he/she arrives.
Until next time!

22 Weeks
Oh how the times fly when you are having.....a baby!
22 weeks down, 18 more weeks to go. Not that I'm counting or anything...I'm just saying :)
Darren and I had our Doctor appointment on Monday and everything is going really well. My blood pressure, and I quote, "is perfect at 120/76". I have gained 18 pounds, which according to my Doctor is right on track. (My scale is reporting that I have only gained 12 pounds, but again who is counting). Finally, I am measuring at 23 centimeters. From what the doctor told me you should be 1 centimeter for every week of pregnancy + or - 1 centimeter, so I am right on target there too! YEA!
Darren and I have also been reading children's books to the baby and we have found the best kiddie book EVER! It is called "Mary had a little Ham" and is a spoof on the classic "Mary had a little Lamb". It is the type of book that is cute for the child but will also have any adult rolling on the floor laughing!
Well that is all for now...Later!

Baby's First Book
On Sunday, Darren, Gary, Linda and I headed to Utica, OH, otherwise known as, the Ice Cream Capital to check out the Ice Cream Festival! We had a great time. We were also able to purchase the Baby's first book. It is called Helping Heroes and is all about Police Officers and Firefighters. We thought that this was a great first book for the Baby's book collection. Now if only we could find a book about Accountants....The Baby is doing really well. He/She has been moving around for a few weeks now, but the movements have been stronger. Darren has not yet been able to feel the baby move but I think he will just in time for Fathers Day. We are very excited and can't believe that 21 weeks have gone by so quickly! We have our monthly doctors appt next Monday so I will make sure to report back after then!

Susan G. Komen's Race for the Cure
people in Columbus, OH to support the quest to find a cure for breast cancer at the Susan G. Komen's Race for the Cure. Kirsten, Brandon (her hubby) and I participated in the 1 mile "fun walk", which was more like the 1 mile shuffle because of the amount of people walking.
HOLY COW!!!!

19 Weeks
So here I am at 19 weeks! Next week will mark the halfway point. Darren and I had a Doctors appointment on Monday, May 7th. Of course they weighed me and it seems that the baby has gained 7 lbs. He/She is growing like a little weed :) (ok, so it is not all baby which is a good thing because otherwise I would be delivering a 35 lb baby). They also took my bloodpressure which was 114/60 which is perfect! Then our favorite part of the appointment - we heard the heartbeating! It has gotten so much stronger since our last appointment 4 weeks ago.
Another milestone that I would like to share is that I have started to feel the baby move!! It is a crazy, crazy feeling. It almost feels like someone is tickling my insides! I can't wait for the kicks to be strong enough for Darren to feel them.
Hope everyone out there in blog world is doing well and enjoying the awesome weather that Spring has finally sprung!
Till next time :)
