Laundry, and Food.

Dad clearly thought it would be funny if Rowan was in a laundry basket. Fortunately, Rowan thought so too!

Rowan has been learning to eat solid food. We're not real great at it, but we really like sweet potatoes. He also likes to help a lot, to the point that sometimes if he doesn't get to shove the spoon in his mouth (or nose, or eye) he's not going to eat!

Yeah! I have a playroom!

Rowan now has his very own playroom. Because our dining room had no furniture in it anyways, we gated it off, and then put down these cool letter-and-number foam flooring stuff. So now, Rowan has a whole room for his toys, in which there are no dogs or dog hair! Yeah!

This one is for Hattie, who highly recommended this book. Although, given that Hattie is not known for being quiet, or good, we're not sure how effective the book is!

This is just so much fun!

It's a baby. In a block.

Florida Part 2

We also went to the beach while we were in Florida. Rowan was very happy to sit on the blanket, and chew on things. The water, with the waves and loud noises, was not Rowan-friendly. After several attempts for him to go in the ocean, and a fair amount of screaming, we let him sit and chew on things.

But after enough time in the sun, and lots of playing, its time to sleep...

Florida Part 1

We went to Florida for Grandma and Grandpa Price's 60th birthday party. We stayed with my Great-Uncle David and Great-Aunt Gayla. And they have a pool! While Rowan had to be all covered up, he loved being in the water. He floated in his little ring, made cute little faces, and kicked his little legs like crazy under water!

The acutal birthday party was a little late for Rowan to stay, so we brought in the best kind of babysitter, family. Alli came up from college in Tampa to babysit Rowan for his. He instantly loved her, and didn't want to go to sleep. Alli is Darren's cousin Chrissy's daughter, and Chrissy was one of the first people to baby-sit Darren after he was born. Crazy!
